Harder Hard Mode

Disclaimer:

I have no experience in modding, no clue what i'm doing and no skill in drawing.

The changes i have made so far took up a considerably large amount of time.

The tools i used are finicky and i often ended up having degraded quality or

suddenly extra colors in my textures when i save the file, resulting in redoing things.

As such i won't take up requests as i easily spend about 5 hours on just one mod.

Description:

This mod does the following:

- It replaces Story difficulty parameter values with the values from Hard

- It renames Story to Balanced (or whatever it's called in your language)

- It replaces Balanced & Hard parameter values, making it scale

towards Mega and as a result lowering the difficulty spike

(pairs nicely with the Unlock Mega Mod)

- Balanced renamed to Hard

- Hard renamed to Hard +

I made the values in both files increase or decrease in equal steps to lower the difficulty

spike and allowing you to more easily transition into a higher difficulty if you want to.

000_difficulty.csv No idea what each int, float or bool does. Simply used logic and

made it increase in equal steps between Difficulty 1 (Story) and Difficulty 4 (Mega)

What do i mean? If Diff. 1 has 1. 0 and Diff. 4 has 4. 0 then i gave Diff. 2 2. 0, etc.

001_difficulty_parameter.csv Contains values for Digimon's stat scaling per difficulty.

Unfortunately all Digimon (regular and bosses) share the same values in this file.

What do i mean? You one shot regular Digimon so you increase the HP, DEF and SPI?

Well now the boss fights take forever. Bosses one shot you so you lower their ATK?

Well now the regular Digimon don't do any damage. As such it's unbalanced by default

and i couldn't find a way to fix it. I tried my best to make both fun as best i could.

Installation:

Drag and drop the .zip file into Reloaded and activate it.

WARNING!

If you are playing with a clean save (no NG+) then i highly advise not to use this mod!

The difficulties where based on Digimon that had their stats boosted from the Digifarm

and Enchantments (no Attachments, i meant feeding fodder Digimon).

If you use this mod from the start you'll have a hard time, maybe it's even impossible

to get past the first boss. Start using it after having 200+ stats (blue) on your Digimon

and you also might want to lower the difficulty before a boss until you reach 500+.

I haven't tested it, but i think i have turned on the option to lower the difficulty

when you are defeated in battle. So you can go from Hard+ back to Hard or Balanced.

Compatibility:

There are no compatibility issues with other mods.

Unless it's one that changes:

- difficulty.mbe > 000_difficulty.csv

- difficulty.mbe > 001_difficulty_parameter.csv

- common_message.mbe > 000_Sheet1.csv

Notes:

If you want to edit the files:

- 000_ Like i said, no clue what value does what.

- 001_ float 1~7 = HP, SP, ATK, DEF, INT, SPI, SPD.

Also it appears there are 7 difficulty slots in the game. So if you want, you could

bring back Story and the regular Balanced difficulties or even add a Mega+++

Check inside patch_text01 folder (english) and go to row 885 in the csv inside

common_message.mbe folder. The other patch_text folders are other languages.
