D2R Save Vault is a lightweight Windows utility for creating automatic full-folder backups of your Diablo II: Resurrected save directory.
It can run quietly in the system tray, wait for Diablo II: Resurrected to start, automatically create backups while you play, and stop scheduled backups when the game closes.
Everything runs locally on your PC.

REQUIREMENTS
• Windows x64
• Diablo II: Resurrected
The downloadable release is self-contained. You do not need to separately install the . NET SDK or . NET runtime.
INSTALLATION
1. Download D2R Save Vault from the Files tab.
2. Extract the ZIP to a permanent folder.
For example:
C:\Tools\D2R Save Vault
3. Run:
D2RSaveVault.exe
4. Select your Diablo II: Resurrected save folder.
5. Select the folder where you want Save Vault to store backups.
6. Choose your backup interval and maximum number of backups.
7. Enable Automatic backups.
8. Enable Bind backups to D2R if you only want scheduled backups while Diablo II: Resurrected is running.
D2R SAVE FOLDER
The normal Diablo II: Resurrected save directory is:
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected
If yours is stored somewhere else, simply select it using Browse.
RECOMMENDED SETUP
For a mostly hands-off configuration, enable:
• Automatic backups
• Bind backups to D2R
• Launch with Windows
• Launch minimized to system tray
• Minimize to system tray
• Keep running when closed
With this configuration:
Windows starts
→ D2R Save Vault starts quietly in the tray
→ Save Vault waits while D2R is closed
→ D2R starts
→ Scheduled backups begin
→ D2R closes
→ Scheduled backups stop
→ Save Vault remains ready for your next session
