📋 About This Mod
Summary
D2R Damage Numbers adds an external, click-through overlay on top of Diablo II: Resurrected. It reads monster HP drops from the running game process and displays floating damage numbers near damaged enemies. It also includes a configurable DPS display, poison/flame-style tick coalescing, and visual spacing so damage numbers are easier to read during fast combat.
Most behavior and visual settings are configurable in the D2RDamageNumbers.ini.
This tool is intended for single-player experimentation and quality-of-life feedback.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Lightweight overlay—won't tank your framerate
- Optional DPS meter is handy for build testing
- No game file edits, so it's safe for online play
⚠️ Cons
- Small userbase (19 endorsements) means less community testing
- Overlay may be blocked by anti-cheat—check compatibility
For D2R players who want to see exact damage numbers without relying on modded game files. Great for theorycrafters and those who like visual feedback. Skip if you prefer a vanilla experience or play on console.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Run the overlay as administrator to ensure it draws over the game
- If you play online, verify that the overlay doesn't trigger anti-cheat—test in single-player first
- Adjust the DPS meter position in the overlay settings to avoid covering your character
