Copy "nativeDX10" folder to the folder where DMC4SE is installed (where "DevilMayCry4SpecialEdition.exe" is located) and overwrite.

Please make a backup yourself if necessary.

< MOD Details and VFX Considerations >

This JCE MOD is a custom edit in the style of DMC5 Boss Vergil.

The action of sheathing Yamato while simultaneously closing the spatial rift is actually made up of separate parts: the "spatial rift effect" and the "rift closing effect".

There's a very high chance it might behave strangely depending on your playing environment, so please use it with the understanding that it's a "poorly made toy".

(Generally, I believe there shouldn't be any issues if your system can consistently maintain 120fps at maximum graphics settings.)

For the other VFX, I have prepared two versions, similar to DMC5-Like JCE etc MOD:

• []v1. 02b: This version changes the effect colors for JCE/JC as well as Force Edge, Beowulf, and others.

  []v1. 01b: This version only changes JCE/JC, with no other VFX modifications. (You can find it under the "Old files" section on the download page.)

  < Game Settings Note >

  Just in case, please set "QUALITY" and "TEXTURE RESOLUTION" to either "SUPER HIGH" or "HIGH" within "PC SETTINGS".

  While it should be fine if your machine has decent performance, JCE, in particular, tends to put a heavy load due to its many effects.

  < Additional Note >

  You are free to use my MOD in emulator environments such as Mobox or Winlator.

  But please refrain from uploading videos showing it running in those environments, as they are neither supported nor intended for use with this MOD.
