Voice Mod - The Unethical Dub

So this is our first major mod project. Most of the direction, production, and sound design was on Dodgson (Me). So blame me for that. If you've ever played DMC and thought "Damn. I wish someone made a crappy dub for it". Here you are! We started this project before we had seen SatanMaySad. So while that mod didn't give us this idea, we do acknowledge it a few times in our mod. We have actually begun working on DMC3 and the meat of the hardest work is done... So there's going to be more stupidity incoming in that game. Goes without saying... DMC2 isn't likely.

So in a nutshell. Devil May Cry 5 Voice Mod with full main character custom voices provided by us.

If you want everything in this mod to work properly. You should probably install it after other mods.

The mod is split up into small-ish components.

PlayerVoices (In-game stuff. Grunts, yells, taunts.)

MissionDialog (Dialog spoken in game.)

Cutscenes (Kinda obvious. The largest part, too.)

Title (Logo with a change to the voice on the title menu)

Other optionals that can be installed afterwards.

Yes. To use this mod you should probably install the Crimson Anger mod first since our Dante is a woman. No it's not because of "wokeness" or anything like that but because we are a group of three friends who decided to mess around and this idea came to light. We would regularly mess around and do little live dubs and the likes and so... here we are!

We're not going to pretend that there's some amazing quality to the voice acting or that it really adds a ton to the experience. We just wanted to do something for laughs and change the overall story experience of DMC5 since by this point we've all played it a bunch right?

I don't expect kindness or praise. But I do expect a little bit of respect. Most of this work fell on one person to do. With others also having to do multiple roles while juggling their responsibilities and health issues (there's a lot of that going round now, eh?) so I'll say this. If you can do better. Then please give it a go. I think we need more people doing this kind of thing.

There are other credits to be given but those are the main roles and since there's only 4 people on this project. I figured it would be fine to leave it there.

So effectively think of this mod as like the "Abridged" series of DMC5 in gameplay form. Why not.

More mods on the way? Sure. We might have a discord and patreon set up soon if we feel the need to. We do have 3 current projects in good completion state. Not all games will have a modloader though. So beware! :D
