(outdated) Enhanced Combat For Playable Vergil

(NOTE: this mod is not intended for the vergil boss fight and may make the fight buggy if installed. only use for the playable version from the co op trainer)

This mod aims to make playable vergil feel less delayed and more responsive by trimming down frames of animations, making him much more flexible to play as and even more possible to pull off combos. There is even tech that can be used with this mod that wasn't possible before due to long animations. There's even a bonus SDT quicksilver judgement cut to give it use outside of visuals (at least in the current version). Hopefully this mod helps a little bit more with filling in the vergil void dmc fans have been feeling since the release of dmc5.

How to use this mod along with how to play as vergil:

1: download the dmc5 co-op trainer by Dante https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycry5/mods/353

2: download fluffy mod manager (if you haven't already) https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycry5/mods/64

3. install the mod through the manager (make sure to uninstall any mods that may conflict with vergil's moveset, visual mods like skins are fine)

4. before starting dmc5, start up the co op trainer so it can recognize the game upon startup

5. start dmc5 and minimize out and select the trainer again and click on the "play as vergil" option

6. once done, you can now go into either the void, bp or any mission as vergil with the enhanced moveset
