📋 About This Mod
Dramatic coat movement intensifies
Bringing my mods back from infernalwarks due to issues with my file hosting.
The movement of Dante's coat in this game always seemed a little off to me. It would sometimes jerk in unexpected ways or fold in on itself and didn't seem to carry much inertia. So I've played with the settings in the chain file, resulting in smoother, more realistic physics that carry more inertia through animation changes. What I ended up with is kind of a middle ground between dmc4's artificially smooth looking coat physics and dmc5's attempt at realistic ones that didn't really work. It's hard to express in words or screenshots, but hell the image for the mod manager is bigger than the actual mod so give it a shot.
In the screenshots, the clothed DT form on the left is using the vanilla settings, and the human form on the right is using the modded ones. I'll also post an addon for the presentable dante clothed DT that uses these settings. This mod should work with any Dante mod that doesn't change the .chain. 21 file
I don't really like the idea of getting money for modding, but having lost my job I guess I need to be more flexible about that, so I've set up a ko-fi account.
