Yard Master (Go shunt yourself)

Are you tired of the suits at DVRT telling you what to do? If so, then go shunt yourself! This mod puts you in charge of the train car logistics by fully reworking the job system to be purely a numbers game. All jobs start and end on a loading track and don't require you to use specific and arbitrary train cars. If it loads, it goes. This means you will also have to coordinate your own logistical hauls since places like CP don't have any outbound jobs. This mod semi-requires the Persistent Jobs mod (Yard master will run without PJ, but cars will randomly disappear or fail to spawn), and it works with Multiplayer.

Technical Details

• []All existing job types are removed in place of Direct Hauls[/]

  []Direct Hauls spawn regardless of what cars are at the station[/]

  []Stations will always have 2 jobs available, but with fewer cars per job[/]

  []Starting or throwing out a job immediately spawns a new one[/]

  []New License system

  - Shunting License is now for jobs of 2 or fewer cars

  - Long 1 is for more than 6 cars

  - Long 2 is for more than 10 cars

  - Logistical Haul is not currently used[/]

  []Time bonuses and payouts have been reworked

  - An element of randomness has been added

  - Shorter time bonus = bigger payout to simulate and express service

  - Some jobs have no bonus

  - Standard payout amount has been slightly randomized as well[/]

  []Job Overview information has also changed

  - Train Mass is just the cargo mass

  - Train Value is just the cago value

  - Train Length is the number of cars[/]

• []Client job overview does not update in MP when cars are loaded[/]

  []Clients get an error when turning in a job in MP with PJ installed (Job does still get submitted)[/]

  []PJ can cause some console spam, especially when also using MP[/]

  []Remote Dispatch is not compatible (Pending a fix from that mod's team)
