Where's Grandpa

Grandpa's fallen on tough times. You see nobody has bought him a coffee (https://buymeacoffee.com/GrandpaPlayingGames) and so he's taken to living in Derail Valley. If you can locate him, you'll earn a substantial reward!

So ... Where's Grandpa?

Each game session Grandpa will be hiding in one of over 350 locations throughout Derail Valley. We've placed a $5,000. 00 reward if you manage to find him. Now, Derail Valley is a big place, and so to help you in your quest we have included a hint system which will appear when you are within Grandpa's proximity. There's 3 levels of hint: Blue means grandpa is somewhere in your vicinity but still quite far away, yellow means you are getting closer to Grandpa's location, and Red which means he is somewhere quite near to you.,

Locate and click on him, and the reward is yours! Of course, Grandpa can be a little sneaky so even with these hints it may take some searching to locate him. Good Luck!

Rules/Tips:

• []Each time you launch a new session or saved game, Grandpa will appear in a fresh location.[/]

  []Grandpa can only be found a maximum of 1 time per game session.[/]

  []Grandpa will only appear within the confines of one of DV's 20 station areas.

  (Meaning you won't find Grandpa deep in the countryside)[/]

  []Grandpa will appear in locations that may be encountered during normal rail activities.

  (i.e. Station Offices, Station platforms, trackside buildings, by the side of the tracks etc.)[/]

• []With the exception of Station Offices, Grandpa will only be external to buildings.[/]

  []Grandpa may be found however in any room of a Station Office.[/]

  []Grandpa doesn't cheat. If you can't access somewhere, neither can Grandpa

  (Though Grandpa MAY sometimes be hiding at MB whether you have the license or not)[/]

  []If you are having trouble finding Grandpa when he's nearby, look up! He often likes to climb on things.[/]

  * Reward is Game currency only and has no real world value.

  Install Steps

  1. Download the DV_WheresGrandpa archive from Nexus Mods

  2. Extract the archive

  3. Copy the entire `DV_WheresGrandpa` folder into your Derail Valley `Mods` folder

  4. Launch Derail Valley

  5. Open Unity Mod Manager and ensure DV_WheresGrandpa is enabled
