Indicator Exporter

This mod is intended to help couple in-game vehicle metadata to external software (to record or display travelled routes in real time) or hardware projects (separating DV from the downstream software and hardware).

The directory to place data files (one per locomotive), the UDP endpoint's address, and the mod's frequency of sampling are configurable from the mod settings UI.

All fields with the exception of the in-game locomotive UUID can be set for inclusion or exclusion from the packets -

• []instantaneous speed (m/s)

  []trainset weight (in kg)

  []in-game location (raw X, Y, Z coordinates in meters)

  []grade under the locomotive (m/m), grade averaged by car mass over the full trainset (m/m)

  []locomotive type (as set on the nameplate)

  []engine RPM (for diesel-electric and diesel-mechanic)

  []throttle/regulator setting (raw value, normalized between 0. 0 and 1. 0)

  []reverser (-1. 0 to +1. 0)

  []traction force as reported by the vehicle (N)

  []steam pressure (boiler, chest) for steam locomotives
