China Railway HongXing paint

红星型内燃机车是中国青岛四方机车车辆厂设计制造的内燃机车车型之一，也是中国铁路第一代液力传动调车内燃机车。该型机车是在吸取东风型内燃动车组和卫星型内燃机车的研制经验基础上，于1962年11月开始设计、1964年8月试制成功、1965年投入批量生产的调车内燃机车，适用于大型工矿企业和铁路调车作业。

Hongxing（HX） diesel locomotive is one of the diesel locomotive models designed and manufactured by Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Factory, China, and is also the first generation of hydraulic transmission shunting diesel locomotive of China Railway. This type of locomotive is based on the development experience of Dongfeng diesel multiple unit and satellite diesel locomotive, designed in November 1962, successfully trial-produced in August 1964, and put into mass production in 1965, suitable for large-scale industrial and mining enterprises and railway shunting operations.
