Merle Dixon (Boozer replacement)

This was originally made for the The Walking Dead Conversion Mod. I have decided to release it as a standalone mod for anyone who might be interested in using it separate from my conversion mod. This mod works perfectly with Daryl Dixon and is fully compatible. Just make sure you are not using any other mods that edits Boozer in any form, including skin or clothing mods. This mod edits Boozer's head, skin and clothing and removes the rings from his hands as well. This mod works in game and in cutscenes and you can play as Merle in the challenge modes.

Known bugs:

Merle's eyes can look a bit weird at times. This is a known issue.

Step 1

Open your game directory and find this location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content\sfpaks

find this file:

startuppackages.pak

change the name to:

disabled_startuppackages.pak

Step 2

Download the main file

Right click the downloaded folder and EXTRACT the file to unzip it.

Move the 500-Merle_P.pak file to this location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days Gone\BendGame\Content\paks\~mods

You will need to create the ~mods folder inside the paks folder.

Yes. You need to create a ~mods folder inside of your Paks folder and place all mods inside this folder. Other than this, following all instructions above should still work.
