📋 About This Mod

So, I've built an IRL drifter bike or two, and looking at the bike parts in this game offended my mechanical sensibilities.  So I set out to fix the most egregious stuff, as well as add some customizations that fit my own preferences, such as traditional cruiser bits and pieces.

Each of the engines now have bespoke exhaust headers that fit their engine layout.

Each engine upgrade is a different layout - 1 cylinder thumper, parallel twin, short-stroke v-twin, long-stroke v-twin, and inline 4.  the long-stroke v-twin is converted from NPC bikes and includes an extended frame since it doesnt fit in the normal one.

the upgraded fork is now a springer fork, converted from the NPC bikes with the texture and skeleton reworked to actually fit.  Also made to work like an actual springer  fork (only the front legs compress).  Includes ape hanger handlebars.

Partial rear fender added, vaguely in the style of a Yamaha V-Star Custom.

Fender 4 is now a traditional cruiser fender mounted to the moving part of the fork, with enough clearance for the knobby tires, no weird cage over the front, and a custom shape.

Engines have stats other than speed - the inline 4 is fast but fragile, the thumper is slow but very tough and hardly takes any damage from water, etc.

Fuel tanks 2 and 3 replaced with the versions from the NPC bikes - they just sit lower in the frame for a different overall look.

Radiator upgrade replaced with running lights - a radiator is not something you can simply add.  An engine either absolutely requires one, or can't use one at all.

Slight adjustments in size and position of headlight... I don't remember the number.  The most normal looking one.

CB radio removed because there's no longer a fixed point to mount it to.

All fuel tanks capacity increased a lot, varying from tank to tank.  The early tanks got a bigger boost than the later ones, so while the later ones are still bigger you can get away with choosing based on appearance more.  I didn't want to go for full realism on how long a tank of gas lasts because it would almost remove that mechanic from the game, but you don't have to be constantly scavenging for fuel, either.

All engines top speed increased, to varying degrees.  the top speed stat meter is pretty much maxed out on all of them, but they do still get faster in their number order.

1. 1. 0 Changes:

Added the Inline 4 to the mechanic inventory at Diamond Lake.

Tweaked the meshes for the rear fender and front cruiser fender.

Fixed a texture issue and a clipping issue on the starting engine.

Fixed a texture issue on the starting fork.

Fixed an issue with decals on one of the gas tanks - I can't fix it for the other one without getting rid of the skinny chopper style tank model and I don't want to do that.

Added right side duffel bags to th
