Earthsplitter

A challenging adventure path featuring many dungeon crawls and exploration encounters. Runs from 2nd to 9th level. 23 encounters in total though many of these are multi-encounter dungeons or exploration sections. Rewards parties that can move quickly and sustain through numerous encounters. Children have always been told to avoid caves, ruins, and other things that could lead to the dark realms below. The surface with it's constant warfare is dangerous enough and the sun fearing creatures below the surface may not venture above but they'd be quick to gobble any kith foolish enough to enter their domain. But in recent months, strange rumblings echo from below and they have been getting more and more constant. As of yet, no harm has come of it but the folk cannot help but be worried. Fear of the unknown gnaws at the heart and stories and legends of evils formerly unleashed by the lower denizens seep out of the memories of those whose grandparents survived the last incursion There's little recourse but to find a group of adventurers able to speak to the denizens and to send them below to investigate. Unfortunately, the only known realms just below the surface, those of the kobolds are unlikely to be involved or know much and yet their realms will still need to be transversed if the party is to descend deeper and discover the source of the disturbance.
