Melee reach attacks made from a non-adjacent space won't trigger it, while a ranged Strike made from an adjacent space will trigger it. Additionally, as shields cannot be broken in Dawnsbury Days, there is no functionality to deal extra damage when a foe breaks your shield. Antipaladin's Exalt feature will deal negative or evil damage to each enemy based on which is better against that creature, rather than the same damage type as the one dealt to the foe who triggered your Champion's Reaction. A creature under the effects of Litany of Self-Interest can use spells or abilities that could be considered beneficial to other creatures, as adjudicating that for each spell or ability would, frankly, be impossible. However, the target still does not treat anyone else as an ally, limiting the number of possible abilities this would be relevant for.
