Bundle of Backgrounds

This mod implements 38 additional backgrounds and 10 additional general feats, to help flesh out the background options for your characters. These backgrounds are slightly stronger than those presented in the base game, as they give both a feat and training in a skill. In addition, many of these backgrounds have inconsistencies with tabletop, providing different skills, homebrew skill feats with combat applications or unusual unique abilities, such as the Barkeep's ability to produce random bottles of liquor with beneficial properties. New Backgrounds Academic Acolyte Aristocrat Barkeep Blessed Bounty Hunter Charlatan Cook Criminal Dawnsbury Under the Sea Resident Despatch Runner Feybound Fire Warden Guard Herbalist Hermit Hunter Labourer Librarian Musical Prodigy Performer Refugee Revenant Sailor Scout Street Urchin Monster Hunter Insurgent Rabble Rouser Rake Knight Preacher Templar Field Researcher Blacksmith Doctor Mortician New General Feats Escape Artist: +1 to escape checks. Fount of Knowledge: +1 to all knowledge skill checks. Hefty hauler: Gain extra gold after each encounter, to simulate your ability to carry more loot. No Cause for Alarm: A diplomacy action that allows you to attempt to removed the frightened condition from nearby allies. Unlike in tabletop, it has +5ft range, only costs 2 actions and uses a standard easy DC of the target's level instead of rolling against their will. Pilgrim's Token: +1 to initiative rolls. Sharpened Senses: +1 to escape checks. Slippery Prey: Reduce the MAP penalty for escape attempts based on your acrobatics or athletics proficiency. Snake Oil: A weaker battle medicine using deception that grants a smaller amount of temporary HP, and cannot score critical successes or failures. Just like battle medicine, adventuers with expert or maser proficiency in Snake Oil can attempt more elaborate 'healing' attempts. *Theatrical Distraction: +1 to create a distraction attempts.
