Dark Souls Unofficial Remaster Project - URP

First of all i want to apologize for the extremely unprofessional way that my mod is portrayed but i simply dont have the time or energy to put any more effort into this right now and i hope that someone else can give my mod the credit it deserves. it should also be noted that i finished working on this mod a few months ago and some unfinished parts of the mod may remain in the game such as elemental weapon effects. (which should be in the game if i remember correctly.) that being said i hope that you enjoy my mod and benefit from it.

Install should be made clear by the required install of UnpackDarkSoulsForModding.

After installing dsfix and UnpackDarkSoulsForModding simply drag and drop the contents of my DATA folder into your DATA folder.

Ok so my mod does a whole lot of shit so check @changelog in the developer stuff section to see what it does

Also you should be aware that there are ALOT of things that i planned to

do/didnt do becuase of "mod rights" and things i didnt do because i

just dont have the time right now.

that being said, i have put a ton of work into this mod and seeing as

how the official remaster is a complete dissapointment i decided to

release my mod even in its HIGHLY unfinished state.

TL;DR im in a position where i either upload the mod as is or it doesnt get uplaoded at all.

In the mod i fixed the almost non existant text in the game menus and

fixed alot of framerate problems caused by bad meshes/effects that you

dont even see/clutter that simply makes the engine run slower.

With that in mind i hope you enjoy what i have done so far and if this

mod gets alot of attention i will consider working on it further.

Also fuck the official remaster :D /s

For anyone wondering, i dont have the time/energy/desire to work on this project anymore so i just threw it up on the nexus as-is with very bad

representation.

What this mod does is pretty much a UI-Text overhaul and some performance/bug fixes at seath the scaleless and any

bonfire, with some other shit here and there such as bootleg permanent

elemental weapon VFX.

Enjoy the mod if you want but dont expect any miracles or new content.
