Geko Custom Edit Skins

First let me say. I love Darkest Dungeon and its modding community is awesome.

If there are any authors who do not want the content I have added here please reach out and I will remove it. Unfortunately I do not own Darkest Dungeon and play through family share so I cannot message on the workshop to give my work directly to them as alternative skins or options. I wanted to share my work so I am posting them here.

These are purely edits to color, darkening out eyes, or merging assets of multiple skins together.

Customized Skins

Houndmaster 

• []Loyal White

 Bandages dog with the concept of the The Loyal One Skin (no assets were taken just the idea).

Used the bandage dog skin from good boy/hound only skins.

GraveRobber

• [] Black eyes Manga

 Manga style grave robber with eyes darkened out to fit DD style.

Jester

Flagellant

  Install

  • []Navigate to Steam Folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DarkestDungeon) default

    []go to heroes folder (except for Musketeer, Flagelant, and Shieldbreaker who are in dlc\dlc#\heroes or features\ folder)

    []navigate to the respective class

    []drop in folder found in zip

  Skin Naming convention

  I have gone through and renamed all my skins to never conflict

  my naming formula:   [#-SkinDesc]

  • [] keep all skins together

    [] original skins just colored | custom looking skins | cool but strange or different]

    []#- e.g. 1-Anti (for his skin set to keep them altogether)

    [] - if there are multiples in the set

    [] jester vestel etc

    [] usesless at this point so usually default to J

    []Example: zC1-UPEP7_crusader_J

  • This will also keep the skins in order so you know which one will be what number in the skin selection crusader_A-D=1-4 then 5 will be the first skin mod zA and so on.  So you can order them by preference or even do something were you number the skins 5 to infinity.
