Remove Nighttime Crickets - Rare Owl Hoot Silent Ambience

My first mod, feedback welcome.

Replaces the grating and repetitive nighttime crickets assigned to the Sound bar with a distant owl hoot and five minutes of silence.

  []Optional Complete Silence, removing crickets and adding nothing else[/]

  Installation instructions

  The file included is simply the .wav to replace the standard AmbientCrickets.wav file, wherever it may be in your mod stack.

  Before replacing the .wav in your stack, make a backup of the default, just in case you don't like this sound effect.

  For me, I am using VanillaPlus, with CleanedSoundClips ver 1. 3:

  • []download this mod and extract it anywhere[/]

    []open the mod folder and copy the AmbientCrickets.wav file[/]

    []open file manager directory for your DFU mods [/]

    []( For Vortex Users: right-click your sound mod in the app to access )[/]

    []navigate to Sound folder[/]

    []( In my case, ~C:\<my_user>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\daggerfallunity\mods\CleanedSoundclips-1. 3{..}\Sound )[/]

    []paste the copied AmbientCrickets.wav file, and confirm replacement of a file[/]
