Install the mod. Android users can copy-paste the QuestPacks folder in the mirror so it merges with their QuestPacks folder (I cannot help with this, please find guidance if you need it).

A: Yes, it will do no harm. It also won't help an existing character. You might as well just use console commands to start the invitation quests on an existing character, which are:
Thieves Guild: startquest O0A0AL00
Dark Brotherhood: startquest L0A01L00
