Ultrawide HUD Safe Zone

Keeps the whole gameplay HUD inside a centred 16:9 (or 21:9) area on 32:9, 21:9 and 48:9 triple-screen monitors. The game still renders at full width. Only the HUD moves.

CSS-only data mod. No ReShade, no plugins, no memory scanning, no settings to fiddle with.

Which file do I need?

• []32:9 monitor (7680x2160, 5120x1440, 3840x1080): download 16:9 HUD on 32:9. This is the main file, tested on a Samsung Odyssey G95NC at 7680x2160.[/]

  []32:9 monitor, but you'd rather have a wider HUD: download 21:9 HUD on 32:9. Confirmed working by a user on a 32:9 screen.[/]

  []21:9 monitor (3440x1440, 2560x1080, 5120x2160): download 16:9 HUD on 21:9. Confirmed working by a user on 3440x1440.[/]

  []48:9 triple screen (three 16:9 monitors, 5760x1080, 7680x1440): download 16:9 HUD on 48:9. Keeps the HUD on the centre screen. New in 1. 1. 0 and not yet run on real hardware, so reports are welcome.[/]

Use one at a time. Each one is built for the ratio in its name.

Requirements

A Crimson Desert mod manager that installs loose-file mods. Any one of:

Nothing else. No ReShade, no ASI loader, no Python.

Install, step by step (about five minutes, no experience needed)

Two parts: get JSON Mod Manager running once, then add this mod to it. If you already use JSON Mod Manager, skip to Part 2.

Part 1: JSON Mod Manager (one-off)

• []Open the JSON Mod Manager page, click its Files tab and download the main file with Manual download.[/]

  []Right-click the downloaded zip and choose Extract All. Put the extracted folder anywhere you will find it again (Documents or Downloads are fine). It does not go inside the game folder.[/]

  []Open the extracted folder and double-click CD JSON Mod Manager (the .exe, the one with the app icon). Nothing to install: no . NET, no Python.[/]

  []If Windows shows a blue SmartScreen box, click More info, then Run anyway. That happens with most small mod tools that are not code-signed.[/]

  []On first launch it finds your Steam copy of Crimson Desert by itself and shows the path next to GAME DIR. If that line is empty, click Browse and pick the game folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crimson Desert).[/]

  Part 2: add this mod

  Before you start: close Crimson Desert if it is running (the manager cannot patch files the game has open), download the file for your monitor from the Files tab of this page (32:9 monitor: the main file), then right-click the zip and choose Extract All. Inside is a folder called Ultrawide_HUD_SafeZone_32-9_to_16-9 (or the 21:9 or 48:9 equivalent) plus a readme. The folder is the mod. Now open JSON Mod Manager and follow the numbers in the picture:

  • []GAME DIR should show your Crimson Desert folder. If it is empty or wrong, click Browse and pick the game folder.[/]

    []Drag the extracted Ultrawide_HUD_SafeZone_... folder onto the big dotted Drop mods here to install area.[/]

    []The mod appears in the ACTIVE list with a switch on the left. Green means on. If it is grey, click it once.[/]

    []Click APPLY MODS. If the log says Access denied, close the manager, right-click the .exe, choose Run as administrator and apply again.[/]

    []Watch the LOG panel. When it finishes with no red error line, the mod is in.[/]

    []Click START GAME, or launch from Steam as usual. The HUD now sits in the centre band.[/]
