Dark Fog Embrace (qol lanterns trust falling damage great thief horse)

Description

This mod combines a few lantern mods and adds some additional effects to lanterns, which would normally conflict.

When you greet any NPC, you will immediately gain 100 trust.

With Dark Fog Lantern (or any other lantern, except the basic one) equipped you will:

• []take no damage from falling from any height, even The Abyss![/]

  []petting any animal will immediately gain 100 trust letting you take them in[/]

  []it will give +100 Horse EXP gain horse interactions to level them up faster[/]

  []be able to freely commit pickpocketing, assault, and vandalism without triggering a violent response[/]

Use Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart. to add Dark Fog Lantern and other lanterns (including the plain one) to the Hernand Equipment Shop.

Use Greylight Special to set the price of all items in Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart. to 1 copper.

Use Skull Lantern to turn the Dark Fog Lantern into a flaming skull 🔥💀🔥

To temporarily disable the abilities of the Dark Fog Lantern (or other special lanterns), just equip the plain Lantern.

Compatibility

This mod might conflict with other mods that modify trust buffs, fall damage reduction, or lanterns.

This mod was made to work with my other mods, listed in the third sticky post.

Requirements

This mod only works with mod managers that support v3 field json mods, like Definitive Mod Manager (DMM).

I test with the latest version of DMM. If it doesn't work in other mod managers, you will have to report a bug to them.

JMM was abandoned and should no longer be used.

DMM handles all mods, including v1 json patch mods.

You cannot use more than one mod manager at a time.

Installation/Updates/Troubleshooting

Use the second sticky post for information on using and troubleshooting DMM.

This mod does not touch your inventory or save game. It only adds buffs to the player and lanterns.

Removing this mod will just restore the player and lanterns to their vanilla defaults. You won't lose your lantern after removing this mod.
