Cheap Gold Bars (qol items reduced buy price money sale)

Description

Install, enable, and mount this mod in DMM to make the buy price of gold bars 1 silver. I increased it from 1 copper to 1 silver so the gold bars could be sold at all shops.

Use Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart. with this mod to buy gold bars at the Hernand Butchery for 1 silver. It seems they removed the 40 qty limit in recent patches. Immediately sell the gold bars at the Hernand Butchery for 10 silver. Repeat to make infinite money.

You can also convert gold bars at the Hernand Bank to 500 silver each. In recent patches, you no longer have to disable the mod first and the 40 qty limit has been removed.

To make money even faster with Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart., you can buy gold bars for 1 silver at the Hernand Butchery, save game, exit, disable this mod, mount, load your save, and sell them at Hernand Butchery for 5000 silver each.

Other Get Rich Quick Schemes

Note that you don't need this mod at all anymore because you can buy any item at any shop and sell it for 10x at that same shop with Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart. now. (The Bond shop does not have a sell option. Contribution shops will give 10 contribution points for selling, not silver.)

With Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart. and Greylight Special, you can also buy bonds at the Hernand Bond Shop for 1 silver. Then convert the bonds to 10 gold bars and convert each gold bar to 500 silver with the Banker. That's 1 silver -> 5k silver in one trip to the bank! No saving and exiting required. Make sure you don't invest bonds or you will have to wait until the 7 day lock in period is over.

With Shop Smart. Shop H-Mart. and Greylight Special, you can also buy platinum bars for 1 silver at the Hernand Butchery, disable Greylight Special and sell them at the Hernand Butchery for 10k silver!

I'll keep this mod active, but it is no longer needed to get infinite money.

Compatibility

This mod might conflict with other mods that modify the gold bar buy price.

This mod was made to work with my other mods, listed in the third sticky post.

Requirements

This mod only works with mod managers that support v3 field json mods, like Definitive Mod Manager (DMM), as of version CD1. 13. 00+.

I test with the latest version of DMM. If it doesn't work in other mod managers, you will have to report a bug to them.

JMM was abandoned and should no longer be used.

DMM handles all mods, including v1 json patch mods.

You cannot use more than one mod manager at a time.

Installation/Updates/Troubleshooting

Use the second sticky post for information on using and troubleshooting DMM.

Removing this mod will just reset the gold bar price to 500 silver coins.
