Less of a shield, more like a buddy
Just like the original games, now you can actually see Aku Aku as a companion instead of a shield with this mod which replaces the base animation of Aku Aku with a brand new one made by me.
Details
This mod contains two files:
Floaty_AkuAku_Without_Feather.pak (Only Aku Aku, without the ring around the player, just like the original games.)
Floaty_AkuAku_With_Feather.pak
(This file has the ring around the player, but with the extra detail of having a feather spinning around the player
just like Crash on the Run

Go to your game folder Crash Bandicoot 4\Lava\Content\Paks
Create a "~mods" folder
and drag the .pak file of your preference into the folder
