Cortex Castle - Hard mode

A much harder version of Cortex Castle, made as a proof of concept for what a "Hard" mode could look like for Crash 4's levels.

As much as the original Cortex Castle is difficult when first run up against, this version turns everything up to 11. Obstacles and crate placements have been heavily altered and require much higher precision, utilization of advanced techniques (hyperspin, akano triple spin), and a good understanding of movement and the quantum masks. The difficulty has been tuned to be tough, but fair, just like base Crash 4.

Optimized for Crash 4 N. Hanced! While the level can be played in the vanilla version, it's highly recommended to play with N. Hanced, otherwise some elements may not work as intended, or at all. Download it here: Crash 4 N. Hanced

This level has the usual collectibles (by N. Hanced standards), including 2 gems, 90% wumpa skin unlock, time relics, flashback tape and perfection trophy (N. Sanely perfect relic). However, due to the higher difficulty, only platinum and master relics have a record time. Dynamic difficulty has been disabled; you won't get extra masks or checkpoints for dying too many times.

When installed, this mod replaces the original Cortex Castle level, you can access it from either the world map or Level Stats.
