Async 4-Bit Counter

This is a 4 bit binary counter using D Type latches. The latches are arranged across the top, one for each bit. They are connected together in series for asynchronous counting. When the clock is pulsed, a new count ripples onto the Data Bus, which is then read by simple D latches shortly after, triggered by the delayed clock pulse. This copies the data bus into the latches so that the final count updates synchronously.
