Magnifying Glass and Solar Panel Potential Issue

This is not a puzzle but is published as one because this is the best way to demonstrate faults with the magnifying glass and solar panel. The incoming light has a maximum distance radius, indicated by black circles and yellow guidelines, while the outgoing light does not, indicated by right triangles and orange guidelines. The issue is that at extreme ends of the triangle, it can light things at a distance much greater than intended, up to ~1. 41x the probably intended distance.
