France in the Cold War 1989

FranceBecause of the distance from the frontline I made the French airfields singe-unit airfields.. Sorry, but the amount of units is growing out of proportions. France was not formally a part of NATO but did some promises...to help… NORTHAG would have been reinforced by the French III Corps and the Force d'Action Rapide in the event of hostilities. ii CENTAG would have been reinforced by the French I Corps and II Corps in the event of hostilities. iii It already had ground and helicopter units in- and close to Germany. iv But had withdrawn its Nike Hercules and Hawk air defenses already in the end of the ‘60’s. So practically no air defense… So it is up to you to incorporate the French or not. if there are additions please let it know. French Navy The navy had their aircraft carriers and I put one fleet west of France. The rest is work for later.vi Main sources. vii viii ix x i https://www.reddit.com/r/WarplanePorn/comments/p2s6kr/1024_x_768_mirage_iv_frances_mach_2_nuclear _bomber/ ii https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outline_of_the_French_Army_at_the_end_of_the_Cold_War iii https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outline_of_the_French_Army_at_the_end_of_the_Cold_War iv https://www.relikte.com/_basis/docs/ffa-2.pdf vhttps://x.com/BaA43A3aHY/status/1824522618289959313 vi https://naval-encyclopedia.com/cold-war/coldwar-french-navy.php vii https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outline_of_the_French_Army_at_the_end_of_the_Cold_War viii https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outline_of_the_French_Army_at_the_end_of_the_Cold_War ix https://www.escadrilles.org/armee-de-l-air/ x http://armee-francaise-1989.wifeo.com/les-garnisons-des-forces-francaises-en-allemagne.php
