Civil War-Lone Star State

Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Texas National Guard are work together to secure the border; stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas; and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between ports of entry. Since the launch of Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to over 350,000 illegal immigrant apprehensions and more than 24,000 criminal arrests, with more than 22,000 felony charges reported. In the fight against fentanyl, DPS has seized over 362 million lethal doses of fentanyl during this border mission. This measure was supported by former President Trump. A new Texas law allowing police to arrest people suspected of illegally crossing the southern border with Mexico was stopped from going into effect Tuesday night when an appellate court issued a late procedural order hours after the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the law could take effect while a legal battle played out. Biden accused the passage of this bill of causing division in the United States. Regarding the measures taken by Texas, various states have taken sides to express their support and opposition. The policy differences between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have further caused social division. Texas declared independence as the Lone Star State in response to opposition from the Biden administration. The Biden administration announced that this was a rebellion, while other states were in a wait-and-see state on the matter. The Biden administration had to send loyal troops to blockade Texas to control the further spread of the situation. Civil war is on the verge of breaking out.
