Soviet Endgame: Caribbean Sucker Punch!

0854 Hours USS Nassau Caribbean Sea “Hey, Skipper, the ASW bird is reporting something odd,” said the Officer of the Deck. “What is it, Larson?” “Seven small contacts making about forty knots and heading north in our direction.” With that kind of speed, Captain Holloway’s first thought was an illegal drug operation. The smugglers would sometimes use speedboats to try and evade the US Coast Guard. “Hey, Steve!” He motioned to his operations officer. “Are there any known drug routes moving through here?” Holloway was confident that there weren’t, but when something made little sense, he liked to think out loud to work through the situation. “Negative, sir, everything we’ve been tracking is on the Atlantic coast. The Coasties have the Gulf pretty well locked up,” said Commander Wagner. “Larson, get on Air Operations and send the helo in for a closer look. Let’s find out who these clowns are.” From the Pages of "Advance to Contact: 1980" comes the Caribbean Sucker Punch! You play as the leader of a Soviet/Cuban/Nicaraguan flotilla trying to sink as many US Amphibious Ships as possible. Can you give the US a bloody nose and push the world closer to World War 3?
