China vs. United States Date/Time: 6th January, 2024/ 10:07:23 Zulu Location: San Clemente Island Duration: 12 Hours Playable Sides: China, United States After the events of Operation Sucker Punch the United States has taken steps to beef up air defenses along the west coast. Arleigh Burke class destroyers have been depolyed offshore of major cities and a Patriot battery has been deployed to San Clemente Island to provide additional coverage for the Los Angeles and San Diego area. Not wanting their investment in Operation Sucker Punch to go to waste, China has decided to take overtly hostile actions and capture the Patriot battery on San Clemente Island. The disarray caused by the attack on San Diego has created this unique opportunity to establish a foothold directly off the American Pacific coast. A destroyer, a landing ship, and two submarines have been dispatched to the area to turn this opportunity into a strategic advantage. NOTE: To capture the Patriot battery you must keep at least one unit continuously within the marked "Capture SAM Site" zone for 10 minutes. Be sure to set ROE for land targets to "HOLD" to avoid destroying the SAM site with the unit sent to capture it. Lt. Wing Commander
