Joint Surveillance System Eastern Air Defense Sector Radar Stations

Greetings This is my first attempt to publish anything for CMO. I hope to add more in the future. Any errors are mine. Please feel free to correct them for your own use. Please note that several radar stations are "stand-ins" as CMO does not have in it's data basethe CARSR (Common Air Route Surveillance Radar) that modernized many of the legacy radars in the 90's. The ARSR-4 is the closest equivalent. There are 80 operational CARSR and 44 operational ARSR-4 systems. The ARSR-4's were upgraded to CARSR standard in 2015. There is a minor difference in range ( (ARSR-4 = 254nm range vs CARSR = 2000). In addition to the Eastern AD Sector EADS), please also find the Western AD Sector (WADS), the Alaskan Radar System, Hawaii Regional Air Ops Radar System, and the Sector Operations Control Centers (SOCC) in CFB North Bay. http://www.fortwiki.com/US_Radar_Sets http://www.fortwiki.com/JSS_System https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Surveillance_System
