North Korean ICBM Intercept Showcase

As early as the 1950s, the United States began research on ballistic missile defense technology. After more than half a century of development, a global integrated layered ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) is being constructed in stages, including an early warning detection system, a command and control/battle management and communication system (C2BMC), and defense weapons3 It now possesses the initial operational capabilities of systematic ballistic missile defense in the mid-stage, terminal high-stage, and terminal low-stage, and is accelerating the development of the extended-range THAAD defense system, multi-target interceptors, and assistive systems. Push section defense system and other equipment. In 1996, General Ronald Fogelman, the former Chief of Staff of the U. S. Air Force, proposed the concept of the kill chain—an orderly chain of interdependent links in the process of attacking a target. It is divided into 6 stages: discovery, positioning, tracking, targeting, engagement and assessment. In 2018, the U. S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency further proposed the concept of a kill network, emphasizing the integration of command and control, intelligence acquisition, and weapons in various fields, forming a network structure composed of multiple nodes, highlighting cross-domain synergy. In this scenario, we presume that North Korea was coup d'état. The faction in power control the launch code. According to the development of US Ballistic Missile Defense System （BMDS） and the operational concept of kill chain and kill net， closure of the information chain，time chain， energy chain，recognition chain， precision chain within the kill chain of US BMDS are analysed with the typical example of U. S. ground-based midcaurse defense system against the North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missile attacking American mainland. The kill net and its comprehensive defense capability of ballistic missile defense for American mainland and overseas theater are
