Kosovar Crisis 2023

At the end of the year 2022, the tensions are growing on the Serbian-Kosovo border. A dispute over legality of car plates escalated in a standoff that involves both civilians and military. Kosovo is populated mostly by Serbs and de facto adheres to Serbian laws and regulations. Only a few countries in the world recognize Kosovo's independence. Meanwhile Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina are actively seeking to form a new Yugoslav federal state with Serbia. With NATO seemingly turning its attention away from Ukraine war, Kosovo authorities sees a window of opportunity to embarked on a dangerous adventure of military provocation.
