Okinawa clash 2027

The competition between China and the United States intensified in 2020s. China has made great progress in economic and industrial capacity, and is expected to surpass the United States' GDP in 2030s. At the same time, Chinese investment in military has grown rapidly. The U. S. believes that China is capable and willing to challenge the U. S-centered world order, and hopes to stop the trend with the Taiwan issue. From Pelosi's visit to Taipei to the US arrangement for officials to work in Taiwan, conflicts between China and the US over the Taiwan issue are inevitable. In 2027, China believe that the possibility of peaceful reunification has completely lost, and decide to launch an action against Taiwan soon. A direct conflict between the two superpowers will play out across the first island chain. Scenario Notes:This scenario focuses on operations near Okinawa. There are three military airfields on Okinawa: Kadena Base, Futenma Base and Naha Base. To the east of Okinawa, there is an amphibious assault ship loaded with F35B and an aircraft carrier battle group loaded with F35C. In 2025, the U. S. military deployed a THAAD battery to Okinawa, and Okinawa's air defense system is very powerful. In order to simplify the deduction, there's no submarine in this scenario. PLA has deployed the Fujian aircraft carrier battle group in East China Sea to support the operation. Please ensure the safety of the Fujian aircraft carrier. 2023/1/18 更新: 将美日方的中距弹射程从默认的最大射程缩减为大约50%以增强空战效率 update: Change of WRA setting on default missile auto fire range of mid-range AAM on aircrafts to about 50% of
