First Battle of Donetsk Airport ( Requires beta 1299+)

Date/Time: 26 May 2014 Location: East of Ukraine, Donbass region. Playable Sides: Ukraine In the spring of 2014, after the victory of the revolution in Ukraine and the occupation of the Crimean Peninsula, Russia, not seeing a strong reaction from the Western countries, decided to go further in the escalation against Ukraine. The Russian agent network has fueled separatist sentiment in Ukraine since the victory of the previous pro-European revolution in 2004, so now they used these sentiments as casus belli for further occupation of their neighbor. In the April 2014, several groups of Russian mercenaries, trained by the Russian special forces, infiltrated Ukraine, pretending to be local rebels, whose goal was to capture governmental structures in a number of large cities and prepare them for annexation like it was in Crimea before. But unlike Crimea, this time Ukraine recovered from the revolution and was able to armed resistance by launching an antiterrorist operation against invaders. On May 26, Russian forces tried to take control of the international airport of Donetsk, which was held by the Ukrainian army, which became one of the fiercest clashes of the early stage of the war and started a lasting contest for control over the airport. There is a certain number of ground units in the scenario that are not involved in action, they are there for decoration and a better understanding of the situation, because at that time of the war, the frontline as such did not yet exist.
