USN ASW Exercise 2006 - UK Navy Revisited

UK CSG vs. Orange Forces Date/Time: 04 MAY 2006 / 2100 ZULU Location: Eastern Seaboard, USA Playable Sides: Royal Navy Description With the growing threat of diesel-electric submarines in coastal and littoral waters, anti-submarine training began to take a higher priority in the new century. Using ships, sensors and systems largely designed for finding Soviet blue-water nuclear submarines, the Royal Navy sets about filling the technical gaps with tactical know-how before the next-generation of anti-submarine technology comes online. The battlefield may be different, but the mission remains the same: find the subs, protect the shipping. First days of the UK CSG COMPTUEX, ASW focused exercises under the CTF 20 command.
