[PBEM Coop] Passing the Baton, 1984

11 May 1984, 0500 Zulu, 0400 Local Guinea-Bissau is a former Portuguese colony that declared independence in 1973. The independence was solidified after the Revolução dos Cravos. At the moment Guinea-Bissau is ruled by a revolutionary council, which was established after a coup in 1980. The country desires to disband the council and adopt a republican constitution in the coming days. As is often the case, there is a resistance force with foreign backing that is opposed to such developments. The resistance is using the Bissagos Islands to recruit and train soldiers and stockpile weapons. Guinea-Bissau asked Soviet Union to support its independence. Situation is developing rapidly, and our assets in the region are limited. It is a good opportunity to show good old smekalka. ======================== This is a small-scale PBEM coop scenario that uses IKE v1. 54. You can of course play it solo. Turn length: 30 minutes Order phases: Navy - 2 Spetsnaz - 3 To capture the airbase, drop infantry at the airfield close to the airbase facilities and wait for 20 minutes.
