📋 About This Mod
Two F84Fs of JG23, based at Lechfeld, are about to stray over the East German border. The pilots, Feldwebel Peter Pfefferkorn and Stabsunteroffizier Hans Eberl, should be following a triangular route taking them west, over the border to Laon in France - instead a faulty compass in the lead aircraft , and an unexpectedly strong wind from the west, is taking them over the border to East Germany. They fail to respond to directions from air traffic because they are talking anxiously between aircraft.
