The Hunt for Yamaraja

"Yamaraja" is the god who brings death and in charge of reincarnation in Hinduism and Buddhism, then there is no surprise that the Indian Navy picked this name for their most powerful nuclear attack submarine, terrifying underwater war machine. Since the planning stage of the eve of the war between India and Pakistan, in order to fill the short board of naval nuclear submarines and to enhance the ability to conduct breaking diplomatic relation operations against China, the Indian military urgently purchased this Los Angeles class SSN which was retired and converted for training purposes, and hired U. S. Navy instructors to carry out a high-intensity professional training for 8 months. After her official service, the submarine was active in the Arabian Sea, in a short time, she successively sank two frigates of Pakistan Navy and three transport ships loaded with equipment supported by Middle East allies of Pakistan, she also launched Tomahawk attacks to more than a dozen of Pakistan's inland targets. Five days ago, the Chinese carrier strike group wiped out the main force of Indian naval surface combatants near Andaman Nicobar Islands, and sank the chakra II nuclear submarine leased by India from Russia. Now, the Yamaraja is the only nuclear attack submarine owned by India. Half a day ago, in the bay of Bengal, near the Andaman Islands, a cargo ship loaded with Chinese exports was hit by a torpedo. The ship's hull tilted heavily into water and the crew abandoned the ship to escape. After analysis, the target that launched the torpedo is likely to be her. Two 052D DDGs, two 054A FFGs and a 093B SSN immediately set out. At present, they have reached the periphery of the scheduled anti-submarine warfare area and are about to launch the hunt of Yamaraja. Aviation ASW units from three airports in Andaman Nicobar Islands are also assigned into the mission, ready to provide support at any time.
