Battle Over Okinawa (English)

Date:December 15, 2019 Location:Okinawa/South China Sea Playable Side:Japan Duration:24hour The Chinese government has become increasingly belligerent since the accidental ramming and sinking of a fishing vessel off the coast of the Senkaku islands by a Japanese coast guard vessel last week. We have tried our best to diffuse tensions through the usual channels but Chinese incursions into our airspace and aggressive naval maneuvers in the South China Sea have increased dramatically since then. Now our intelligence services have confirmed that they may be planning some kind of punitive strike at or near Okinawa involving the PLAN and PLAAF. The United States has provided us with intelligence and reassurances but they don’t seem interested in overt military support as a region wide conflict would obviously be catastrophic.
