Boston's Battle, 1963

This scenario assumes that hostilities broke out between NATO and the Warsaw Pact in late 1963. ------------------------------------------------------- This is an "alternate" scenario to Boston's Brawl, 1963. The assumption is that the American Surface Action Group centered around the Boston is on patrol off the coast of West Africa, instead of being in the South Atlantic, and is called upon to destroy a Soviet Surface Action Group rather than a pair of Soviet submarines. Because of the time period, it is assumed that the American forces are not authorized to use SAMs in the anti-surface mode, although it is possible for the player to ignore this. A delta template .ini file has been included in the .zip file to assist in updating the scenario to any future versions of the database. Scenario Author: Mark Gellis
