Movement Overdrive - Faster Movement and Quick Speed Switching

Overview

• []This mod allows you to boost your character's movement speed anywhere from 1. 1x to 3x.[/]

  []Movement speed can be switched at any time during gameplay using a hotkey. Both keyboard and gamepad controls are supported.[/]

  []This makes moving through dungeons or rough terrain—where motorcycles cannot be used—much more comfortable. It is ideal for repeated playthroughs.[/]

Features

Movement speed boost

Switch between 3 movement speed levels:

Level 0 (Normal): Default game speeds

Level 1 (Fast): 1. 5x movement speed (default)

Level 2 (Very Fast): 2. 25x movement speed (default)

You can adjust the speed at each levels, including Level 0 (Normal), in the configuration file  (range: 1. 1-3. 0) .

Keyboard - T  (Customizable in MovementOverdrive.ini)

Gamepad - R1 + L3  (Customizable in MovementOverdrive.ini)

Single press : Lv1 movement speed

Press and hold : Lv2 movement speed

Single press again during boost : Reset to Lv0 movement speed

Visual effects:

A blue aura appears around the character when switching to Level 1 speed mode,

and a red aura appears when switching to Level 2 speed mode.

Installation instructions

Requirements

To use this mod, you need to install UE4SS.

If you haven't installed UE4SS yet, please follow the guide on the page below to install it.

If you have already installed it, please proceed directly to installing the mod.

Install Movement Overdrive mod

• []Download the latest release of this mod[/]

  []Extract the files from within the downloaded zip folder[/]

  []Copy the extracted `CodeVein2` folder and merge it with your game's `CodeVein2` folder. (ie, copy it into the root CodeVein2 folder)[/]

  []Done[/]

Important Notes:

- Do not copy the zip files into your game folders without uncompressing them first.

Uninstall this mod

To uninstall, delete the following folders and files.

'<Game Folder>\CodeVein2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\MovementOverdrive\'

'<Game Folder>\CodeVein2\Content\Paks\LogicMods\MovementOverdrive.

Configuration

These settings are optional. If the default settings are fine, you don't need to change anything.

You can change the speed multipliers and key assignments by editing the .ini file located at the following path.

'<Game Folder>\CodeVein2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\MovementOverdrive\Config'

Level0SpeedMultiplier : Movement speed multiplier for Level 0 (Normal) state (default: 1. 0, range: 1. 0 to Level1SpeedMultiplier)

Level1SpeedMultiplier : Movement speed multiplier for Level 1 boost (default: 1. 5, range: 1. 1-3. 0)

Level2SpeedMultiplier : Movement speed multiplier for Level 2 boost (default: 2. 25, range: 1. 1-3. 0, floored to Level1SpeedMultiplier
