Code Vein II - Save Backup Utility

Features:

- Future proof, updates and expansion(s) should not change save folder location and so the tool will work with those just fine

- Restores saves from a list of existing backups, with dates

- Can create a shortcut on the Desktop and Start Menu for easy access to save files

- When uninstalling, it will not remove the existing backup files, only the shortcuts to the backup folder, this is to prevent mistakes such as losing save backups.

Installation:

There is no install (only backing up and restoring save files), run the application everytime you want to backup or restore save files.

Usage:

- The tool will detect if the game is running, you are still able to Backup save data with the game running, but not restore, to prevent corruption the tool does not allow to restore save data while the game is running.

- When restoring save files, a backup of current save data is automatically created, the new backup will be named accordingly to help identify it.

- When renaming the backups with the tool, it will retain User ID, "Backup_" and for Backups created from Auto-Backup when using restore will retain "Pre-Restore Backup".

- No limit to amount of backups.

- At the end screen, there is a button to open the Backups folder for easy access.

- For Multi Steam accounts, the Backups will be named after the User ID, example: " Backup_", if renaming the backup with the tool, it will retain the User ID in the backup name. You need to rely on the User ID to restore to the right account if you use multiple accounts, however a safety backup is always created automatically before restoring anything.

Notes:

The reason I've decided to include a # in "#Video Game Saves" is so that windows sorting shows this folder at the top.
