FullFastMechanic

Description

FullFastMechanic is a quality-of-life mod for Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 focused on speeding up repetitive garage actions.

It started as an updated and expanded take on InstantScrews, which was no longer being maintained. I decided to patch the original concept and extend it with many additional features for screws, machines, fluids, vehicle movement, bodywork and interior parts.

Most timings and speed multipliers can be customized through the mod configuration file.

Installation instructions

• 1. Install MelonLoader 0. 5. 7: https://github.com/LavaGang/MelonLoader/releases

• 2. Run the game once with MelonLoader installed.

• 3. Copy FullFastMechanic.dll into: `Car Mechanic Simulator 2021/Mods/`

• 4. Launch the game.

• 5. Edit the FullFastMechanic configuration file if needed. Like remove the .example at the end to enable it. Configure it as you want.

• 6. Restart the game after changing the configuration.

    FullFastMechanic is made for MelonLoader 0. 5. 7. Other versions may not work correctly. (I don't provide support for other version of MelonLoader than 0. 5. 7.)

    InstantScrews served as the original base and inspiration for the screw interaction mechanic.

    Since the original mod was no longer receiving updates, I decided to maintain and expand the concept with new patches and additional features.

    Development, debugging, refactoring and code assistance were also carried out with the help of GPT-6 Astra (for large-scale features, debugging and optimisations).

    All updates are fully tested in the latest and stable versions of the game, which are official and available on Steam.
