Snow Tweaks

Snow Tweaks provide a variety of QoL tweaks, and is also more-or-less a combination of several smaller mods I've made over the years. All features are optional, and the game is only modified when the corresponding config value is not 0.

Known Issues

The only known issue is attempting to change your in-game resolution while in windowed mode can cause a crash. If you need to change your in-game resolution, do that while window_mode is 0 then start the game again with it back on.

Features

This is a list of features from the SnowTweaks.ini file included with the mod.

• []disable_exclusive: if not 0, prevents the game from going into exclusive fullscreen.[/]

  []disable_minimize: if not 0, prevents the game from being minimized when you switch windows.[/]

  []portable_saves: if not 0, game saves will be re-directed to the game folder (under "Saves/").[/]

  []random_loading: if not 0, the order of loading screens is randomized.[/]

  []window_mode: if not 0, the game window is like a normal window (rather than borderless).[/]

  []window_x: if not 0, overrides the window width in windowed mode.[/]

  []window_y: if not 0, overrides the window height in windowed mode.[/]

  Installation

  To install Snow Tweaks...

  • []Put "SnowTweaks.asi" and "SnowTweaks.ini" in your game folder, alongside Bully.exe.[/]

    []Make sure you have an ASI loader (like dinput8.dll from Ultimate ASI Loader or SilentPatch).[/]

    Conflicts

    Delete any of the following ASI mods if you have them, since Snow Tweaks replaces them.

    • []focus.asi, this mod prevented the game from losing focus (which Snow Tweaks does by default).[/]

      []portable_saves.asi, this mod put saves in the game folder (which Snow Tweaks can do if you enabled).[/]

      []random_loading_screens.asi, this mod randomized the order of loading screens (which Snow Tweaks does by default).[/]

      []window.asi, this mod implemented a toggle for windowed mode that didn't work very well. Snow Tweaks does not offer an alt+enter toggle like it did, but it can reliably run the game in windowed mode if enabled.[/]
