Razc01na's Essential Fixes and Improvements

Description

Essential Fixes & Improvements is a large bugfix and gameplay improvement mod for Bully: Scholarship Edition. The mod fixes numerous issues across nearly every mission in the game, restores intended behavior, improves overall game stability, and adds compatibility for 60 FPS gameplay when used alongside Silent Patch.

This mod was originally created by Razc01na and uploaded to Bully-Board. This upload exists primarily for preservation purposes due to Bully-Board frequently going offline.

Installation instructions

Option 1 (Recommended):

1. Copy the contents of Main/To Scripts folder into your game's Scripts folder.

2. (Highly Recommended) Copy the contents of the Optional folder into your game directory, excluding default.idb.

Option 2:

1. Install a tool such as IMG Factory.

2. Open the game's Scripts.img.

3. Replace the original scripts with the compiled scripts from Main/Compiled.

4. Rebuild the archive.

5. (Highly Recommended) Install the contents of the Optional folder, excluding default.idb.

Main features

Fixes dozens of mission softlocks, crashes, scripting bugs, and gameplay inconsistencies

Adds compatibility with 60 FPS gameplay

Fixes multiple music looping issues

Restores intended NPC behaviors and mission logic

Improves stealth balancing in several missions

Fixes various save/load related glitches

Includes numerous free roam and world behavior improvements

Contains many quality-of-life improvements throughout the game

Requirements

There are no strict requirements for this mod, but there are a few recommended (and not recommended) additions/settings:

Strongly recommended: Silent Patch for Bully (Set FPSLimit=60 inside SilentPatchBully.ini)

Widescreen Fix is NOT recommended, as it may cause additional issues
