PC Sound Kit

A mirror of the PC Sound Kit used to import custom music and sounds.

This is a small tool kit used to import (and extract) sound files from Bully SE on PC.

MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL FILES BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY SOUND MODDING.

1. Extract contents of this to any folder, away from your main Bully folder

2. Go to /audio/playlist in your Bully folder and MAKE A BACKUP of any files you'll be using.

AMBS: Ambiance files

CUTS: Cutscene audio.

MUSIC: Game's soundtrack

SPEECH: All character quotes

3. Take the file's .bin and .lst and copy them to the folder you extracted the toolkit to.

4. Drag and drop the .bin (example music.bin) onto "export wav.bat" and wait a while

A new folder will pop up containing all raw .wav files from the file you extracted.

5. In this folder, find an audio file you wish to replace (ie ms_fightingjocks = Jocks' theme), and delete EVERY wav here EXCEPT for the ones you are editing.

6. Open Audacity and import the wav you are editing.

7. Import the music (or sound) you wish to replace it with, AND IT HAS TO BE THE SAME LENGTH! Otherwise it WILL crash. So if it's longer than the original file, trim it down, if it's longer, find a way to extend it.

8. Delete the original track and export your replacement one as the exact same file name.

9. EXPORT IT AS WAV S16 PCM.

10. Make sure your MODDED sound file is in the folder the original file was in

11. Drag the .bin onto "import.bat"

12. Then drag the modded files (ie music.bin) back to bully scholarship edition/audio/playlist

13. Start Bully up and find out where your music you modded plays and see if it works.
