1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Straßenversion

The Porsche 911 GT1 is a legendary sports car from the 1990s, designed to dominate the GT1 class. To comply with regulations, Porsche also built a street-legal homologation version: the rare 911 GT1 Straßenversion. The key features and specifications of this ultimate Porsche are: Performance & Engine: Powered by a 3. 2-liter, water-cooled twin-turbo flat-six engine. This racing monster produced over 600 hp, weighed only 1,050 kg, and accelerated to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds. Homologation: To be allowed to compete in racing (such as Le Mans), street versions were required. Porsche ultimately built only 20 of them, making the car a multi-million dollar object today. Motorsport success: The GT1 made its debut in 1996. It immediately achieved a class victory (and 2nd and 3rd place overall) at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
