WPD - 2018 Ford Police Utility | Marked Hardtop K-9 | Wright Police Department

2018 Ford Explorer Brick Count: 1,029 The Wright Police Department was founded in 1903 to serve the city of Wright, the county seat of Wright County, Tennessee. Originally a small force of town marshals and part-time officers, the department was formed to handle local disputes, enforce ordinances, and maintain peace in a growing community shaped by agriculture, trade, and the nearby rail lines. Over the decades, the Wright Police Department has grown with the city while keeping its small-town spirit. Today, it’s a close-knit agency focused on community engagement, responsive patrols, and partnerships with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. Though the city has seen steady growth, the department remains grounded in its mission to serve with integrity, approachability, and a deep connection to the people it protects.
